It was a brisk day, yet comfortable. Tanhi'fitang despised the hot weather that made him sweat like rain while he was trying to hunt. It was the perfect weather that teetered between seasons before it became too cold.
Tanhi prowled close to the ground as he looked for tracks that might lead him to his next prey. He touched a small indent in a patch of mud, rolling the sligh substance between his fingers. These were no tracks of an animal- but of his own kind. Suddenly he heard a light snap of twigs and his ears perked to alertness. He crouched back behind a tree, pulling his bow to front and drawing an arrow just for safety. Could it be an enemy? He had only gone hunting by foot with a few others and they had all gone in different directions- so there was no way it could be one of them. Looking up above his head, he saw a grouping of brightly colored feathers. His eyebrow arched in question, reaching up to pick one from the patch. They were native, but...how did they get there?
