This will be Ginny's story.
Prologue
It had been hours... and now, she was in labor. The black Akita groaned and moaned, moving around uncomfortably. She attempted to get in a comfortable pose, but nothing worked. She let out a pained yelp, which caused two figures within the cave to awaken. It was her older sister, Fuji. Her older sister began to approach, and from how her sister was moving... it was time! "Cera, are you..?" Fuji trailed off.
Shaking her head, she said, "I will hold you." as she goes to attempts to hold her still.
"Rita, it is okay. Its me. Calm down." Fuji spoke softly, causing her sister to calm a bit.
"T-The p-pain..." She gasped, grunting as she felt it... the first pup was coming. "I know, sis, I know... just relax and push... I can see the first pup's head coming out..." Fuji spoke with gentleness, attempting to keep Cera calm. She watched as a small, silver head began to come out. "Keep pushing, the pup's coming out." Cera began to push with all her might. She shut her eyes, whining slightly. Finally, after several more minutes of pushing, the small brown pup came out with a loud yelp.
"Good job sis."
Fuji carefully nudged the pup over to her sister's stomach, so it could nurse. Instinctively, Cera began to lick the silver pup clean. Almost after she was done, she yelped, feeling another pup coming.
"Here comes number two, come on Cera. Keep pushing." Fuji said, stroking her sister with her paws to make her relax a bit.
"Here it comes..." Daichi said, watching as a black head began to show. After a moment or two of pushing, the pup came out, yelping.
"Great job." Once more, Fuji nudged the pup over, now next to its sibling.
"I... it hurts s-so badly..." Cera whimpered. "You're almost there Sis. Just hang in there. Don't quit on me." Fuji spoke sternly, but still gently. Soon, the third pup was born, a white with black stripes.
"Well, this one certainly has Lot's genes." Fuji said, as she nudged it over with the other pups.
"Think that's all of them?" Fuji asked.
"I think so-" Cera stopped when she yelped again.
"Another?" Fuji went over, looking. Yes... there was one more. A small brown head was coming out.
"Come on little one, come on..." Fuji spoke gently.
Finally, after some pushing, the small brown pup came out, yelping shrilly.
"I think this the last one." Fuji carefully carried the small one over, placing it next to Cera's front leg. "D... did I... do g-good..?" Rita asked tiredly. "You were more than that. You were fantastic." Fuji said proudly. Then she ran off to search for Cera's mate, Lot. Eventually, the silver Akita ran in.
"Cera!" The black Akita merely smiled, looking at him.
"I did it, Lot...I did it......"
The silvery Akita approached, looking at his four pups.
"Rita... they're beautiful." He smiled, nuzzling his mate gently.
"You did fantasic."
"Well... my sister helped." Cera smiled at her older sister.
"Just doing what I can, Sis." Fuji said with a smile.
"I should know, as I have three pups of my own." Cera looked at her small pups.
"...Do you think Giyan and Hiyan... do you think they'd be proud as well?"
Fuji nods.
"Of course Cera. They will be very proud of you." Cera gave a nod, looking at her pups.
"I have decided on names for them."
"Oh? What would that might be?" Lot looks at his mate.
"Ginny is the tore-ge, just like her cousin, Gin. The other pups will be named Ponn, Nipp, and Fuji." Cera looked happy with those names.
"Great names Sis." Fuji smiled, Lot nodding.
"They're perfect, Rita." Lot tells Cera, as he smiles as well, laying down to get a better look at the pups. A new generation was born...
